Since 2023, I’ve worked as a data and software engineer for The Boston Globe.
I’ve worked with newsroom and engineering teams to build our elections data API, supporting up to 200,000 requests per minute, led backend development on the revamp of our High School Sports coverage, and the Globe’s first public-facing AI product, an LLM-powered semantic search and AI overview system for our recipes archive.
I also architected a centralized data-scraping framework, cutting development and deployment time by 60%, and built AI-driven scraper workflows that significantly reduce manual scraping effort.
