I worked as a software engineer for Rewiring America, a nonprofit working to “electrify everything”, starting with U.S. households (think: heatpumps!)
I helped research, develop, and scale granular energy-use modeling to quantify the climate and economic benefits of household electrification at the national, state, and county levels.
This work supported Bringing Infrastructure Home, a 50-state report on U.S. home electrification, making the case for federal incentives. The work ultimately contributed to the inclusion of household electrification tax credits in the Inflation Reduction Act.
